About the Activity
During the two day Symposium at the Royal Society, experts from a variety of disciplines came together to share knowledge on scarring and methods to improve healing quality and patient outcomes. From cutting-edge scar therapeutics, to the experiences of clinicians working in extreme environments in conflict zones. Workshops, themed sessions, and interviews, addressed the past, present, and future, of scar free healing. Dr Arora presented on work from the BEST Lab as well as collaborative works with Prof. Iain Whitaker, who leads the Reconstructive Surgery & Regenerative Medicine Research Centre (ReconRegen) at Swansea. In the first evening, >200 members of the Scar Free community celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Foundation amongst the delegates.
